REDLANDS, Calif. — Stater Bros. Charities has donated $5,000 to the Redlands FC Fund, the nonprofit arm of Redlands FC, to purchase soccer cleats for local children participating in the Boys & Girls Club summer clinic.
The donation will help provide cleats for young athletes taking part in Redlands FC’s free week-long program, where participants are learning from Redlands FC players and coaches, developing their skills, building confidence and creating lasting memories through the game.

For many children, having the right equipment can make a meaningful difference in whether they are able to participate comfortably and confidently. The cleats provided through Stater Bros. Charities’ support will help remove that barrier and give more local youth the opportunity to step onto the field ready to play.

Stater Bros. Charities is the philanthropic arm of Stater Bros. Markets and supports nonprofit organizations and local causes throughout Southern California, with a focus on hunger relief, children's well-being, education, health, veterans and active service members. The company has deep roots in the Inland Empire, opening its first store in Yucaipa in 1936.
Throughout the clinic, Boys & Girls Club participants are spending time with Redlands FC players while taking part in soccer activities designed to keep them active, introduce them to the game and build confidence both on and off the field.

The cleat giveaway is part of Redlands FC's ongoing effort to make soccer more accessible through free youth clinics, community partnerships and programs that connect local children with the sport.
The donation will help ensure more children can lace up, join their teammates on the field and experience the joy of playing soccer.
