Redlands Police seek public's help locating two missing teens
Girls, ages 13 and 14, have been missing since May 16; investigators say there are no new leads
REDLANDS, Calif. – Redlands police are asking for the public's help in locating two teenage girls who have been missing for nearly two weeks, with investigators saying there have been no confirmed sightings or new leads in the case.
Aurora Brunner, 13, who also goes by "Nora," and Lexi Boykin, 14, who also goes by "Ash," were last seen leaving a residence in Redlands around 2:30 a.m. on May 16, according to a social media post from the Redlands Police Department.
Police said the girls left with backpacks and may have been heading to Pasadena, San Francisco or Texas. Authorities have not released additional information about how the destinations were identified.
Detective Thomas Williams confirmed Wednesday that both girls remain missing.
"They both are still missing and there are no new leads as to their whereabouts or their destination at this time," Williams said in an email to Community Forward Redlands.
Police have not released details about the circumstances surrounding the girls' disappearance.
