Redlands to resurface 44 streets with $1.97M in state funding
Work begins fall 2025 on dozens of deteriorating street segments, funded by California’s SB1 transportation tax.
The development will push Redlands closer to achieving its goal of 3,516 units by 2029.
REDLANDS, Calif. — The Redlands City Council voted unanimously at their Tuesday, May 7 meeting to approve a development that will build 102 single-family homes on a vacant lot.
Why it matters: The 102 units that make up the Madera at Citrus Trail Specific Plan would contribute to the overall goal set by the city in its 2021-2029 Housing Element, as part of Redlands’ General Plan, to create an additional 3,516 units. This development will contribute to the 1,282 needed in the above-moderate income category.
