City invites all adult residents to share thoughts on priorities and quality of life until October 2
REDLANDS, Calif. — The city of Redlands is inviting all adult residents to participate in its fourth annual National Community Survey, seeking input on city services, quality of life, and future priorities.
The comprehensive survey, which began collecting data on Aug. 7, aims to help city officials assess existing programs, evaluate community priorities, and make informed decisions for the future.
"For the fourth consecutive year, the city of Redlands is inviting all residents to give us their thoughts on priorities for government and the quality of life in Redlands," said Carl Baker, Public Information Officer for the city of Redlands.
The survey is available in both English and Spanish.
Developed by independent consultant Polco with input from City staff, the National Community Survey allows Redlands to compare results with other communities across the country and benchmark against its own previous three years of data.
Topics covered in the survey include quality of life, important community characteristics, services provided by Redlands, and priorities for the future.
The 2023 National Community Survey results for Redlands showed that residents surveyed mostly view the city more positively across categories than in previous years.
The City initially sent invitations to a random sample of residents representing a cross-section of the Redlands population.
Now, the survey is open to all adult residents, who are encouraged to participate and share the survey links with their neighbors and local networks.
Residents with questions about the survey can contact Public Information Officer Carl Baker at 909-798-7633 or by email at cbaker@cityofredlands.org. Additional information is available on the survey site.
