Expected morning rain delays return of Downtown's Morning Market
REDLANDS, Calif. — The Redlands Downtown's Morning Market, slated for Saturday, March 2, has been canceled due to forecasted rain, announced city spokesperson Carl Baker in a press release Friday evening.
As per the city's weather policy, event cancellations due to rain are decided by staff monitoring the AccuWeather forecast at noon the day before the event. A 60% chance of rain during event hours triggers cancellation.
The morning market, originally set to kick off its new season this weekend, typically runs from March to November in downtown Redlands. A new time and location for the weekly Saturday market were recently announced.
The market is set to resume next Saturday, March 9, from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. Approximately 50 vendors will offer fresh produce, baked goods, hot food, and handmade treasures, as detailed in the market map.
