Screening of David Attenborough: A Life on Our Planet invites Redlands community to reflect and act

ANCA film and discussion series continues this summer at the University of Redlands

REDLANDS, Calif. — Community members are invited to a special screening of David Attenborough: A Life on Our Planet on Saturday, June 21, at the University of Redlands, followed by a courtyard discussion exploring local and global responses to climate change.

The free event organized by Accelerate Neighborhood Climate Action (ANCA) Redlands will take place at 6 p.m. in Gregory Hall, Room 161, with doors opening at 5:45 p.m.

Through breathtaking visuals and candid reflections, the film serves as both a powerful memoir and a call to action from renowned naturalist Sir David Attenborough.

The screening is part of a summer documentary series hosted on campus that aims to engage residents in urgent conversations about environmental sustainability and climate resilience.

The series continues in July with a screening of No Impact Man, which follows author Colin Beavan’s year-long experiment to live in New York City with zero environmental impact. Each screening will be followed by an informal community discussion.

Attendees are encouraged to register in advance and bring neighbors, friends, and family. For more information or to register, visit the event link.
