As the election for the Redlands Unified School District (RUSD) Board of Education approaches, it's important to understand the role of a school board member. These elected officials serve as key decision-makers for the district, representing the interests of students, parents, and the community.
School board members are responsible for establishing policies that govern the district’s operations, ensuring that schools comply with local, state, and federal regulations. They also oversee the district's budget, ensuring that resources are allocated effectively to meet the needs of students, staff, and facilities.
