π AK Smiley Public Library's Summer Reading Program runs June through July with free weekly events for children, teens and families. Thursday mornings feature special performers and educational programs, including live animal encounters, magic shows, juggling acts and visits from East Valley Therapy Dogs. All events are free, and youth can also enjoy Lunch at the Library and book giveaways throughout the summer. The program culminates with a Grand Finale Foam Party on Aug. 6 at Smiley Park.

π San Bernardino County Museum: Special summer programs offer a great option to beat the heat while exploring hands-on exhibits and a range of STEAM activities every Saturday from 10 am - 3:00 pm.
The STEAM Lab is also open Wednesday through Sunday from 10 am to 3pm for budding scientists, artists and tech-enthusiasts.
