Redlands joins nationwide ‘No Kings’ protest against Trump policies
Hundreds rallied at Peace Corner as part of a national day of protest involving 2,000 demonstrations across all 50 states.
Opening: Volunteer position on the city of Redlands Municipal Utilities/Public Works Commission, with a deadline of Sept. 24.
What they do: The commission serves as an advisory body to the City Council and assists various city departments by providing citizen review and input on public works projects and facilities management. Members of the commission are appointed by the City Council.
Time commitment: The commission meets at 4 p.m. on the first Monday of even-numbered months.
