Redlands Police investigate shooting that left man injured on Orange Street

REDLANDS, Calif. — Redlands Police are investigating a shooting that left a man injured Saturday night, Sept. 19, in the 1200 block of Orange Street.

Officers found the victim lying on the sidewalk. Redlands Fire Department and AMR personnel provided medical aid, and the man was taken to a hospital with injuries that were not considered life-threatening.

The shooting remains under investigation. Police said no further information is being released.

Two teens detained in vehicle burglary

Two teenage boys were detained after a homeowner reported watching two masked suspects break into his work truck in the 500 block of East Pioneer Avenue shortly after 3 a.m. Wednesday, Sept. 23.

The homeowner was watching his surveillance cameras as the burglary occurred, according to police. Arriving officers detained the two teenagers and found stolen property in their possession.

Both were cited and released to a parent or guardian.

Two drivers arrested on suspicion of DUI

A man was arrested on suspicion of driving under the influence Saturday night, Sept. 19, following a single-vehicle collision in the 600 block of Central Avenue.

Earlier that day, officers responding to a reported hit-and-run collision in the 300 block of Fifth Street located the suspect vehicle shortly before 1 a.m. and conducted a traffic stop.

Police said the driver was under the influence and arrested.
