REDLANDS, Calif. — The Redlands Police Community Foundation will host its annual community event from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 18, at Ranch Market in Redlands, offering free food, family activities, and opportunities to meet local officers.
The event is free and open to the public. Visitors can enjoy complimentary food prepared by Redlands police officers, Uncle Howie’s Pizza, and Cookie Co., along with hands-on activities for children.
Interactive displays will include CPR manikins from Bio-One, crafts from Home Depot, and forensic demonstrations, as well as a chance to meet Redlands’ K9 Big Jake. The city’s bookmobile will also provide free books, and photo opportunities with officers will be available throughout the morning.
Opportunity drawings will feature a variety of prizes, including bicycles, Theron’s gift cards, a photo session with Big Jake, ice cream outings with officers, and even lunch with the police chief.
“Bring a friend and come hungry,” said event planner Chris Martin. “It will be a great day.”
