Redlands’ oldest Business turns 138, invites community to celebrate

Citrograph Printing Co. is marking the anniversary with a public celebration July 16

REDLANDS, Calif. Citrograph Printing Co., the longest continuously operating print shop in California and the oldest business in Redlands, is marking its 138th anniversary with a public celebration on July 16.

Located at 113 E. State Street, the historic shop is inviting the community to stop by and learn more about its legacy—including artifacts from its early days and selections from Redlands’ first newspaper, The Citrograph, which predates the city’s incorporation.

Founded by Scipio Craig in 1887, Citrograph has evolved over the decades while maintaining its commitment to quality and ethics. Current owners Al Hernandez and Ryan Bailey, who took over in 2002, have expanded the company’s services to include digital printing, publishing, promotional products and a line of locally designed Redlands souvenirs.

In addition to preserving its legacy, Citrograph supports future generations through the Citrograph Foundation, which awards scholarships to students in music, business, and graphic design, as well as grants for local youth programs.

More information is available at www.citrograph.com or by visiting the shop on July 16.
