Share your feedback in the city’s annual community survey, available online through Sept. 15
The city of Redlands is inviting residents to weigh in on local government priorities and quality of life through its annual online community survey that opened this week.
Why it matters: The National Community Survey™, developed by independent consultant Polco, asks residents about city services, community characteristics and priorities for the future. Responses allow Redlands to compare results with other cities nationwide, track changes in residents’ opinions over time and plan for the future.
How it works: A random sample of residents received invitations earlier in August. Now all Redlands residents 18 and older are encouraged to participate before the Sept. 15 deadline.

Comparing past results: The city first used the survey in 2021 and has repeated it annually to guide decisions and assess service delivery. Last year’s survey highlighted Redlands’ cultural offerings and parks as strengths, while showing a dip in confidence in local government compared with previous years. City officials say the results help shape budget priorities and long-term planning.
Residents with questions can contact city Public Information Officer Carl Baker at (909) 798-7633 or cbaker@cityofredlands.org or visit the city's website.
Survey results will be published online later this year.
