Redlands City Council approves $16.1 million in contracts for new City Hall
The State Street City Hall renovation project moves into construction phase after years of planning.
Redlands High senior Ava Reyes, along with Arrowhead Christian Academy’s Josephine “Josie” Weirs and Emilee Drumright, have been named to the 2025 All-CIF Southern Section volleyball teams in their respective divisions.
Reyes, a senior and four-year varsity player for the Terriers, served as the team’s libero/defensive specialist for the past three seasons and played a reserve role behind senior Bella Farrokhi as a freshman in 2022.
Reyes played a key role in the team’s 31-7 season and fourth straight Citrus Belt League title, producing a personal-record 504 digs (4.3 digs per set) with only seven ball-handling errors in 117 sets over 38 matches.
Over the past four seasons, she compiled 1,197 digs and 189 service aces in 372 sets, helping the Terriers to an overall record of 108-33 and four straight CBL championships, with a league record of 39-1.
Arrowhead Christian’s middle blocker duo of Drumright, a 5-foot-7 senior, and Weirs, a 6-foot-2 sophomore, were the front-line powers for the Eagles, who finished the season 18-13 after a disappointing 1-7 Arrowhead League campaign.
However, ACA stepped it up in the CIF Southern Section playoffs, winning four straight matches before losing to Wiseburn-Da Vinci of El Segundo in the Division 6 title match, 3-1.
ACA advanced to the CIF State Southern Regional tournament before losing to eventual state division champion Academy of Our Lady of Peace of San Diego.
Weirs led the Eagles with 141 kills and 35 blocks (29 solo) over 65 sets. Drumright added 122 kills and 21 blocks, including 18 solo.
