REDLANDS, Calif. — The city of Redlands has extended the application deadline for an open seat on its Utilities Advisory Committee, which will help guide a forthcoming water and wastewater rate study.
Applications are now due by Dec. 1, 2025.
The committee will be made up of city water or wastewater customers. Elected officials and city employees are not eligible to apply. Members serve two-year terms under the city’s Municipal Code.
The advisory group provides recommendations to the City Council on rates for water and sewer services. The upcoming rate study is expected to take about six months. Meetings will be held at least monthly—tentatively on Wednesdays or Thursdays from 5 to 7 p.m.—with the possibility of additional sessions.
