REDLANDS, Calif. — The Redlands City Council will meet Tuesday, March 3 to consider a $3.4 million public works contract for the Water Facilities Generator Project. Council will also consider a continuation plan for Measure I and adopt new e-bike regulations.
Here’s how the meeting breaks down:
Closed Session
Before the public meeting, the council will hold a closed session, which is legally confidential except for any “reportable action” announced by the city attorney. Under California law, closed sessions cover sensitive matters such as litigation, human resources issues and property negotiations.

Approval of a $59,558.98 purchase of Getac mounts from West Coast Lights & Sirens.
Approval of $2,565 for the temporary street closure related to the Art-On-State event to be hosted on March 15, 2026 by the Redlands Art Association.
Approval of $130,607.96 for in-kind support for the Redlands Bicycle Classic, including temporary street closures and the sale and consumption of alcoholic beverages at the event.
Approval of a License Agreement with Fortino Vizcaino, dba 4Tinos, to operate a food truck at the City’s Corporate Yard.
Approval of a $71,343.34 purchase for mobile crash barriers from Meridian Rapid Defense Group LLC.
Approval of the first amendment to the agreement with Willdan Engineering for code enforcement services, increasing the total amount from $75,000 to $180,000.
New Business
The new business section addresses larger or more complex topics requiring individual council discussion and action.
Highlights include:
