The annual holiday parade will bring lighted floats, music and family-friendly festivities to downtown Redlands on Saturday starting at 6 p.m.
REDLANDS, Calif. — The holiday season kicks into full gear in downtown Redlands on Saturday, Dec. 6, when the annual Redlands Christmas Parade lights up State Street with festive floats, music and holiday cheer.
Organized by the Kiwanis Club of Redlands, this year’s parade, themed ’Tis the Season, begins at 6 p.m.
Parade-goers can expect a family-friendly evening of dazzling lighted floats, musical performances by local school bands and community groups parading through Historic Downtown Redlands.
Officials say the parade route starts at Eureka and Citrus Avenue and proceeds north to 8th Street before turning left onto State Street — then heads to Orange Street and back down Citrus.
Quiet zones can be found on Citrus between Orange and Eureka streets.
Public parking will be available in a new parking garage off Stuart and Orange Avenue; off-street parking is allowed everywhere except along the parade route.
Attendance to this long-standing Redlands community tradition is free.
