Awards honor former RAPA president Geraldine M. Derkum and support sorority women from the greater Redlands region. Applications are due Feb. 25, 2026.
The Redlands Area Panhellenic Association (RAPA) is now accepting applications for scholarships of up to $5,000 for outstanding college women who have been initiated into, and are members in good standing of, a National Panhellenic sorority active on any U.S. college campus.
Applicants must have a permanent residence in the greater Redlands area, which includes Redlands, Highland, East Highlands, Mentone, Yucaipa, Cherry Valley, Calimesa, Beaumont, Banning and Loma Linda. Corresponding ZIP codes — 92220, 92223, 92318, 92320, 92346, 92359, 92373, 92374, 92375, 92399, 92403 and 92404 — are also listed on the application.
The scholarships are merit-based, not necessarily need-based. Award funds are typically sent directly to the recipient’s college or university to be applied toward tuition and fees.

The application deadline for the 2026–27 scholarship year is Feb. 25, 2026. To apply, visit the scholarship tab at redlandspanhellenic.wordpress.com.
