The city of Redlands will bring back its popular Movies in the Park series this month with a free outdoor screening and sing-along of the musical film Wicked.
The event is set for Friday, Sept. 19, at Martinez Park (East San Bernardino Avenue and Church Street).
Pre-movie activities begin at 5:30 p.m., with the film starting at dusk.
Performers from the University of Redlands Theater Program will lead the sing-along, inviting guests to join in on the iconic songs from the Broadway favorite.
The evening will also feature themed activities, live entertainment and food vendors. Families are encouraged to bring blankets, lawn chairs and picnic essentials.
The Movies in the Park series is hosted by the city’s Recreation Division as part of its effort to provide free, family-friendly community programming.
