Meet the August Featured Artists at Redlands Art Association

The field is set for the Western Regional Little League baseball tournament August 2-8 in San Bernardino.
The tournament is for players aged 10 to 12.
Many fans from around the western states and the Inland Empire annually attend the games at Al Houghton Stadium in North San Bernardino. The games are also televised on ESPN.
All players and coaches stay in barracks on the Western Regional grounds.
The event is actually three tournaments in one place – the West Region tourney, Northwest Region, and Mountain Region.
Golden Hill Little League of Fullerton and Alpine/West Menlo LL of Menlo Park recently qualified for the West Region tourney.
Golden Hill defeated Eastvale 8-0 in the Southern California title game. Alpine/West Menlo topped Maidu 4-2 in the Northern California championship game.
The other two West Region teams are Arcadia LL of Scottsdale, Arizona and Honolulu LL of Honolulu, Hawaii.
Competing in the Northwest Region are Abbott-O-Rabbit LL of Anchorage, Alaska; Southwest Ada LL of Boise, Idaho; Murrayhill LL of Beaverton, Oregon; and Bonney Lake/Summer LL of Bonney Lake, Washington.
Battling it out in the Mountain Region are North Boulder LL of Boulder, Colorado; Boulder Arrowhead LL of Billings, Montana; Summerlin South LL of Las Vegas, Nevada; Lone Peak LL of Alpine, Utah; and Torrington LL of Torrington, Wyoming.

Saturday
Alpine/West Menlo (Northern California) versus Arcadia (Arizona), 3 p.m.
Honolulu (Hawaii) versus Golden Hill (Southern California), 6 p.m.
Sunday
Bonney Lake/Sumner (Washington) versus Abbott-O-Rabbit (Alaska), 3 p.m.
Murrayhill (Oregon) versus Southwest Ada (Idaho), 6 p.m.
Saturday
Boulder Arrowhead (Montana) versus Torrington (Wyoming), noon.
