Free Oct. 4 event focuses on wellness and substance use prevention for ages 12–18
REDLANDS, Calif. — Local organizations are teaming up to host a free Harvest Health & Wellness Youth Workshop on Saturday, Oct. 4, from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. at the Redlands Family YMCA, 500 E. Citrus Ave.
The interactive event is open to youth ages 12–18 and is designed to provide practical tools for health, wellness, and substance use prevention. Organizers say the workshop will emphasize the “eight domains of wellness,” giving young people resources to make informed and healthy decisions.
The program will feature guest speakers, including health professionals and prevention experts, along with activities and group discussions. Participants will gain skills to support a balanced lifestyle in a safe environment where they can openly ask questions and learn.
Free lunch and giveaways will be provided.
The event is presented by the Institute for Public Strategies, Redlands YMCA, JessBeU, Planned Parenthood, Renewing Hope, and Soluna.
