REDLANDS, Calif. — A Flood Watch will be in effect from 4 a.m. Nov. 15, through Saturday evening as an early winter storm brings the potential for heavy rainfall, thunderstorms and flooding across the Inland Empire, according to the National Weather Service.
Forecasters warn that excessive runoff may lead to flooding in rivers, creeks, low-lying areas and spots with poor drainage. Urban flooding is possible, and officials caution that debris flows could occur near burn scars.
The Flood Watch covers much of Southwest California, including the San Bernardino County mountains, valleys and the Inland Empire.
Residents are urged to monitor updated forecasts, sign up for emergency alerts and prepare to take action if conditions worsen.

In Redlands, empty sandbags are available at all city fire stations, and a self-serve sandbag fill station is open at the Redlands City Corporate Yard. Sand and shovels are provided at no cost.
