REDLANDS, Calif. — Citibank has opened a new branch in downtown Redlands, expanding its Southern California footprint and bringing additional in-person banking, financial education and small-business services to the city’s downtown corridor.
The downtown location, which opened in November 2025, reflects Citi’s continued investment in brick-and-mortar banking and community-based financial services in the Inland Empire.

Redlands Mayor Mario Saucedo thanked the company for investing in the city, citing opportunities for first-time homebuyers and financial education.
“We want to thank Citi for opening,” Saucedo said. “It is meaningful for our community to have that opportunity for first-time home buyers and financial education. The city council thanks you for choosing Redlands to locate your business. Your investment in the city is greatly appreciated.”

The branch opening included tours for residents and refreshments from local businesses, including Bricks and Birch pizza and Martha’s Green bakery. Citi was joined by representatives from several local and regional nonprofit organizations, including Accessity, Inland Empire SoCal Housing Collective, Neighborhood Partnership Housing Services, Junior Achievement of Southern California, Credit.org and the Inland Empire Resource Center.
Citi operates 163 branches across Southern California. The Redlands location follows the opening of a new Citi branch in Dana Point earlier this year.
