REDLANDS, Calif. — The Redlands Art Association is encouraging artists to submit work for its 57th Annual Multi Media Mini Show, scheduled to run Feb. 27 through March 19 at the RAA Gallery & Art Center.

The juried exhibition is open to any artist residing in California, as well as members of the Redlands Art Association. Artists may submit up to three recent original works. Cash and gift awards will be offered, along with pledges to purchase selected pieces.

Unique among Southern California exhibitions, the Multi Media Mini Show accepts fine art in any medium, including painting, ceramics, glass, wood, metal, digital art and photography. To qualify for the “mini” format, artworks must measure no more than 14½ inches on any side, including frame or base.

Daniel Foster, an award-winning arts and community leader with more than 35 years of experience in the San Diego, Riverside–San Bernardino and San Francisco regions, will serve as juror.

“It’s a real thrill to have your art chosen for the exhibit,” said Sandy Davies, show coordinator. “But even if it isn’t chosen, just entering the show is a great experience.”

In-person entry will be held Saturday, Feb. 21, from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. at the RAA Gallery, 215 E. State St. Entry forms are available at the gallery or online at redlands-art.org under Gallery > Forms > MMM Prospectus. All submitted artwork must be for sale. The association retains a 30% commission on sales.

An opening reception is scheduled for Friday, Feb. 27, at 5 p.m., followed by an artist awards reception Saturday, Feb. 28, at 1 p.m.
