Suspect Edward Dykstra, 21, apprehended after search warrant reveals stolen school property and illegal firearm at his residence
A 21-year-old man was arrested Tuesday for allegedly burglarizing Redlands East Valley High School and stealing over $3,000 worth of electronics.
Edward Dykstra, a resident of Mentone, was taken into custody after deputies served a search warrant at his home on Aug. 21, according to a new release from the San Bernardino Sheriff's Department on Wednesday.
The burglary was reported on Aug. 11 when deputies responded to the high school. Through investigation, authorities identified Dykstra as the suspect.
