Redlands will honor veterans with a parade and community dinner on Tuesday, Nov. 11, featuring local service members, live music and display of military vehicles. Here’s what to know about the events.
🎖️ Veterans Day Parade and Celebration
Time: 9 a.m.
Route: Redlands High School → Jennie Davis Park
Hosted by: The city of Redlands and the Redlands Hometown Heroes Foundation
Redlands will honor local service members and veterans with a parade and ceremony beginning at 9 a.m. at Redlands High School and ending at Jennie Davis Park.
This year’s Grand Marshal is retired U.S. Army Sgt. Dan Flanigan, a Vietnam veteran and Redlands native. The observance at 10:45 a.m. will include remarks from Mayor Mario Saucedo and a proclamation recognizing 100-year-old Navy veteran Eddie Chacon.
A community celebration will follow with food vendors, live music, beer garden and a display of military vehicles, hosted by American Legion Posts 106 and 650.

🥗 9th Annual Veterans Day Dinner
Time: 2–6 p.m.
Location: Redlands Elks Lodge #583, 663 New York St.
Hosted by: Redlands Veterans Committee
The Redlands Veterans Committee will host its 9th Annual Veterans Dinner on Tuesday, Nov. 11, offering a free meal, live music, and door prizes for local military veterans and their families.
The dinner will take place from 2 to 6 p.m. at Redlands Elks Lodge #583. The event is open to the public and serves as a community thank-you to those who have served in the armed forces. No reservations are required.
Along with door prizes and live music by The Tomcats, guests can take part in several raffle drawings, a Last Man Standing opportunity, and a Grand Prize giveaway for a week-long stay in Kaua‘i (airfare and meals not included).
