REDLANDS, Calif. — The Margaret Clark Art Education Enrichment Fund is now accepting applications for its 2026 grants, offering up to $2,000 to support arts education in local schools and nonprofit organizations.

Each year, the MCAEEF Committee distributes funding to expand access to visual arts instruction and creative opportunities for students across the Redlands Unified School District and the broader community.

Art in the classroom

A major portion of the grants supports art-related projects in Redlands public school classrooms, from kindergarten through 12th grade. Past funding has helped launch after-school art programs at elementary schools and bolster youth arts initiatives led by community organizations.

High school art scholarships

The fund also provides scholarships and awards to outstanding high school art students, with Redlands-area art teachers selecting recipients each school year. Programs such as Chepulechi have historically been among those supported. The Redlands Art Association encourages the public to learn more by viewing the Art Is Cool video series on Vimeo.

Individual grants for education

In addition to institutional grants, MCAEEF may award funding to individuals or groups proposing projects that align with the Redlands Art Association’s art education goals. Eligible proposals can include a single activity or a series of events designed to enrich local students’ artistic learning.

RAA student scholarships

The committee also offers scholarships for students enrolled in classes at the Redlands Art Association Gallery. All scholarship applications are reviewed and distributed by the association’s Adult and Youth Education Committee.

Beyond direct student aid, MCAEEF may fund additional art education projects and materials that support the Redlands Art Association’s educational programming. More information is available through the association’s film series highlighting its work: https://vimeo.com/17826590
