Forty artists will display paintings, jewelry and more March 15 on State Street in downtown Redlands. Free outdoor show supports local art classes.
REDLANDS — Artists will line a block of downtown State Street on Sunday, March 15, for the Art-on-State-Street Outdoor Show, a one-day event featuring local art and crafts.
The show will run from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. on State Street between Sixth and Seventh streets, directly in front of the Redlands Art Association Gallery and Education Center at 215 E. State St. The block will be closed to vehicle traffic to allow visitors to walk among artist booths set up along the street.
About 40 artists are expected to participate, showcasing a variety of work including paintings, cards, jewelry, ceramics and photography. Organizers say the event will include both fine art and handcrafted pieces, ranging from traditional works to whimsical and functional art.
The Redlands Art Association Gallery will also be open during the event.
Admission is free and open to the public. Proceeds from the show support the Redlands Art Association’s art classes for youth and adults.
