REDLANDS, Calif. — The Redlands Downtown's Morning Market, slated for Saturday, March 2, has been canceled due to forecasted rain, announced city spokesperson Carl Baker in a press release Friday evening.

As per the city's weather policy, event cancellations due to rain are decided by staff monitoring the AccuWeather forecast at noon the day before the event. A 60% chance of rain during event hours triggers cancellation.

The morning market, originally set to kick off its new season this weekend, typically runs from March to November in downtown Redlands. The market is set to resume next Saturday, March 9, from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. Approximately 50 vendors will offer fresh produce, baked goods, hot food, and handmade treasures, as detailed in the market map.
